Albert Connette

Albert was called to Olivet in 1996 having previously served churches in Front Royal and Waynesboro, VA and as a Volunteer in Mission in Costa Rica. He is a native of Wilmington, NC and graduated from Davidson College in NC and Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, VA. Remarried in 2010, his wife, Charlotte Matthews, is a poet and teacher at UVA. He has two children, Grant and Sarah, and two step-children, Emma and Garland. He is currently renovating an older home in Crozet where he gets to employ skills acquired on home-repair mission trips and Habitat house construction. He enjoys vegetable gardening, hiking and river float fishing trips.

Seth Lovell

Newly Ordained and Called as Associate Pastor for Youth and Family Ministry, Seth began serving as Olivet's Director of Youth Ministries in 2010. He was born and raised in the Shenandoah Valley, graduated from James Madison University, and is a recent graduate of Union Presbyterian Seminary. Seth served six years in the Virginia Army National Guard, including a year in Afghanistan and a year in Iraq. Before coming to Olivet, he served as a youth adviser and member of the Session at Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church in Fishersville, VA, and spent summers on the staff of the Massanetta Springs Middle-School Conference.

Seth is an avid sports fan, having coached high school basketball and tennis, and loves following UVA sports and Baltimore Ravens football.

He married his high-school sweetheart, Brittany, in 2007. Brittany is a nurse at UVA Student Health Center. Together, they have two daughters, Kylie and Norah, and a son, Asher. They love traveling, hiking, and rooting for their favorite sports teams together.

Dale Dealtrey

Dale Dealtrey

A graduate of Hollins College and Duke Divinity School, Dale moved to the Free Union area after a 30-year career serving churches in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Having led worship at Olivet on a number of occasions as visiting liturgist or preacher, the congregaton welcomed Dale as a part-time parish asssociate in 2013. Dale’s responsibilities include developing ministries with new members, inactive members, and members experiencing a life transition, as well as pastoral care and worship leadership.

Betsy Dishman

Betsy was called to serve at Olivet as the part time Director of Music Ministries in 2009. In 2011, she began a full time position as Director of Music and Children's Ministries. A native of Richmond and a James Madison University graduate, Betsy and her husband Keith make the Shenandoah Valley their home with two sons, Zach and Jacob. In addition to 25 years of serving area churches, Betsy has led retreats for families, served as co-director of the Massanetta Springs Church Music Conference, worship leader for the Massanetta Springs Bible Conference and Presbyterian Women's Conference, and trainer and curriculum writer for the LOGOS Ministry. She also volunteers for local and international mission trips, and teaches voice and piano privately. Keith and Betsy enjoy singing with their a cappella group, Sound Direction, for special events and concerts.

Robin Servine

Robin Servine began working as our part-time Interim Director of Communications in May 2017.   Robin is in the office on Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays.

Emily Rosson

Emily joined the staff at Olivet as the half-time Administrative Assistant in August of 2016, but she has enjoyed worshiping with us at our Thanksgiving Community Service for several years as a member and the Minister of Music at Ivy Creek United Methodist Church.  She has been teaching music for over 25 years, and is currently the orchestra director at Village School.  Emily and her husband, Doug live in northern Albemarle with their three sons, Andrew, Harrison and Jackson.  She enjoys scratching her golden, Gryffin, behind the ears, directing her church choir, having someone else do the cooking, and listening to her boys play and sing.  Emily is in the office Tuesday mornings, Wednesdays and Fridays.
